Daniels Scholarship Program

The Daniels Scholarship Program provides a four-year annually-renewable college scholarship for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities.

5County Sheriff's of Colorado Scholarship (due 2/26/2021)
$500. For student attending Colorado college or university. Residents of Boulder County may apply in odd years (e.g. 2021, 2023, etc.) Current transcripts, and two letters of personal reference required.

4 Year, $4000-$5500 per year, For Colorado resident in the 5450 Rotary District (Summit to plains, Longmont to Castle Rock) who is a US citizen attending collegiate institution in CO, and intending to major in Math, Science, or Engineering. Will be required to attend at least 4 Rotary Club meetings per year.

$500-$5000. For current high school seniors in pursuit of higher education, based on academics, community engagement and financial need. They offer several scholarships with different criteria.

Dorian De Long Arts & Music Scholarship (due 3/1/2021)
$1,500-$2,000. Awarded annually to one or more graduating Colorado high school students who plan on majoring or minoring in visual or performing arts at a Colorado post-secondary institution.

Boulder Rotary Club Scholarship (due 3/12/2021)
6-12 scholarships. Awarded to seniors graduating from BVSD High Schools, to be used for tuition or fees for the recipient's freshman year at an accredited COLORADO college or university (including community college). The awards are made based on projected ability to succeed in college and scholastic, volunteer and extra-curricular activities during high school. Financial need may also be considered.

2 Awards of $1,620 each. For an applicant to be considered for a Mayflower Scholarship, the Application Form must include a valid GSMD membership number for either the applicant or for a parent, grandparent, or great grandparent of the applicant.

Boulder County Colorado County Clerks Association Scholarship (due 3/26/2021)
One-time $500 or $1,000. Scholarship is to aid outstanding Colorado
graduating high school seniors in furthering their education, particularly in the field of public service. Selection is based on a minimum 3.25 GPA, participation in extracurricular, community and service activities, and demonstrated financial need.

Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado Grossman Scholarship (due 3/31/2021)
4 Year, $5,000 per year. For Colorado resident attending an accredited Colorado college or university, or a 2-year community college. Applicant must have volunteered with VOC or other Colorado stewardship organization. Applicant must be pursuing a degree program with an environmental, natural resource, or outdoor recreation emphasis.

$500. Applicant must have a home address within the Boulder Valley Conservation district boundaries. Include transcript and essay on soil and water conservation. Applicant must be pursing a degree in an agriculture related or natural resources field.

Rocky Mountain Relocation Council Scholarship (due 4/1/2021)
2 one-time $1,500. Awarded to seniors who have relocated more then 50 miles during their 9-12 grade years and changed schools due to this relocation.  Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Three $1000 scholarships. Awarded to graduating senior who will attend a 2 or 4-year institution or trade school in the fall of 2021. Must be in good academic standing and have participated in at least one club, sport, or extracurricular activity at Monarch High School.

Varies, but renewable. Scholarships for graduating BVSD HS seniors who are attending college to become an educator. Scholarship award amounts are variable at the discretion of the BVEA Scholarship Committee and are based on need and merit.

Two $1000 scholarships. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who live in the Town of Superior. Students will be judged based on their academic performance, community and extracurricular involvements, a recommendation from a teacher, coach, or another advisor, and their response to an essay prompt.
