MHS Schedule Change Guidelines
SCHEDULE CHANGES
It is expected that all freshmen and sophomores be enrolled in seven classes, juniors in six, and seniors a minimum of five. Seniors must carry a minimum of five classes both semesters. Students must have a minimum of five classes in order to participate in Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) sanctioned activities.
CHANGES WILL BE MADE FOR:
Fall
Spring
*Clean Drops are defined as removing a class from the schedule and the transcript.
**WP is defined as a withdraw pass. This is shown on the transcript but does not affect the grade point average.
**WF is defined as a withdraw fail. This is shown on the transcript but does not affect the grade point average.
***Late Drops are defined as a class dropped after 10/2/17 (first semester) or 2/23/18 (second semester). The student will receive a failing grade for the class.

- Seniors needing a course to fulfill graduation requirements
- Students needing to drop a course that has already been taken for credit
- Students needing to move to the appropriate course level
- Students who’ve been scheduled into a class that was not a selected course
- Imbalance of class
Fall
- Begin 8/14/19
- Last day for course corrections 10/22/19
- Clean Drops* will be made through 9/5/19
- WP/WF** may be made through 9/27/19
- Late Drops*** will receive an “F” if made after 9/30/19
Spring
- Begin TBA
- Clean Drops* will be made through TBA
- WP/WF** may be made through TBA
- Late Drops*** may be made after TBA
